Die forging offers a tight and homogeneous material microstructure which assists in minimization of internal porosity and shrinkage defects. The combination of integral quenching and high-temperature tempering achieves hardness/toughness compromise for elements that are subjected to impact and cyclic loading.

Standard mechanical properties are characterized by 1080–1200 MPa tensile strength, ≥930 MPa yield strength, ≥12% elongation, and ≥55% reduction of area. However, the exact figures need to be cross-verified according to the material and inspection requirements specific to each production ‍‌‍‍‌run.

2. Precision Thread Fit for Reliable Assembly

We‍‌‍‍‌ finish internal threads by CNC machining within the given 6H thread tolerance class as well as controlling of pitch and tooth according to the approved drawings. Threads which are constantly matching the nut help to carry away a greater and even share of the tightening load, and therefore will be less contact fatigue stress localized, this being beneficial for reliable assembly with the cone crusher components.

This way, having a tougher inside and a harder outside surface allows us to prevent the wear-prone areas from being worn out and at the same time, it preserves the dimensional relationship needed for components that fit ‍‌‍‍‌together.
